    I bought a new spreader in 2018 . Scott’s Edge Guard . Agitator went missing already :notsure: . Sent an email to them so they are sending the part free :thumbsup: This Pennington I bought at Lowes 2 years ago for $1 a bag clearance. I bought 25 bags and these are the last 2 .

    MAF sensor won't make it run and die, it would just run like crap. Sounds like possibly the crankshaft sensor went kaput (also explains the CEL). If you lose that sensor it doesn't know crank position and can't tell when to spark. This is all speculation over the internet, it'll probably have to be towed to your shop for proper diagnosis. Unfortunately I'm out of pocket today :(

    I'm not a mechanic but when we went to go pickup my truck and test drive it one more time before we bought it the cam position sensor went bad as we were driving it. It stayed running but it was running super rough and barely stayed running at idle.


    I looked at this thread and the OP said it would start and die in 2 or 3 seconds. He cleaned the MAF sensor and it ran fine afterward. Only thing is his was a 2nd gen I believe and he just put a K&N oiled filter on so some believe it was the oil from the filter that threw it off.
