Very nice. I would like to get one just like this except with the tall switches on top since I already have 3 filled but would like more.

Thanks for posting. I need this. Is yours the smooth or textured one?

Not today but a couple of days ago I put new tires on my truck. The tire shop scratched and gouged my wheels so I replaced them with new ones. This is what Michelin Defender® LTX® M/S 265/75R16 116T side view looks like with OEM Tacoma TRD Pro wheels (2017-19)

Great info but they are all up and set now. Will have to remember that for the future. We are planning on moving in the next 3 to 4 years so hopefully I won't have to do this again before we move. But with my luck this isn't over. :annoyed:

They have different configurations but that one sounds a little custom , I’m sure it’s possible though.

Eh, personally I'd be fine with bluetooth and a phone dock. I went 8 years like that in my last car. Hell, could mount the dock to the OEM head unit's screen at that point. It's kind of garbage without AA/CP.

Installed the 4RT tailgate pop n lock - super easy. Finally a mod that didn’t take longer than I expected! Lol

C4 Fabrication sliders this morning. These things are sexy. Not fun to do by yourself and with no jack or stands, but I improvised. Took about 2 hours total.

When they added the new runways to the Atlanta airport, the city bought up whole neighborhoods to flatten. My buddy asked if he could salvage some existing fencing in one of those neighborhoods before it was all destroyed. The told him to take all he wanted -free-.
Three of us showed up with a 10' length of chain, a steel truck wheel (no tire), and a trailer hitch on one of our vehicles.
Choke the upright fencepost as low as possible with the chain, run the chain over the steel wheel in the direction of the truck, connect up to the trailer hitch, and pull. The truck will extract the complete post and concrete ball effortlessly. Takes longer to reposition the truck than to hook up & pull. I suppose, with a long enough chain, one could just stay in line of the other posts and pull repeatedly without repositioning... our chain wasn't long enough.

(My buddy simply dug extra large holes and re-used the concrete ball at the bottom of each post. No comment if that's a good thing or not. The fence was still standing years later.)

Those are rad. I love that they have the fillers in the areas you would need a step, but not the entire length of the slider.

edit: Yikes, I just looked up the price lol

That's a great idea and I can see how easily it would work. But I would need the wheel and a fortune to purchase enough chain to run to the back corner of my yard as there is no access except from the street. In certain situations your idea would be ideal. Thankfully we have had a good bit of rain lately so the soil is pretty soft so it didn't kill me to dig the old post and concrete out.

I got the smooth. Looks pretty close to the factory one. You could always paint it yourself. I didn’t see the reason to justify spending the extra money for the textured. If it was $10 maybe. But not $35.

Sumo Springs were one of the first things I added to the truck.. inexpensive and effective. About 600lb tongue weight here.. not quite as much as your talking, but they make a few different models based on the weight you need.

Yeah, they're proud of their stuff, but they make the best stuff. And that's before powder coating.

Could be different gas station. I've noticed mine will fluctuate a mile or two depending on where I get gas. Could be more traffic. The more I'm stuck in traffic doing less than 50mph the better my economy is. Could be better tail winds and less headwind, or more gentle usage of the right foot, or lower cruising speeds. I know that now that we are coming out of winter there is less butane being added to the fuel which usually results in a fuel economy improvement this time of year, but that wouldn't account for your experience for the last 1.5 years.
