Yeah i can’t remember the measurements, but when i first put the leaf pack in it sat really nice. then maybe 3 months down the road it started to sag when i would put my tent on slightly. i just rather have rake then a weird lean. i’ll be going to option 3 tomorrow. hopefully it’ll sit right for longer time !

Just my $0.02, I agree that rake when running around normally unloaded looks great. Level or a bit of sag when actually loaded up is just fine.

The big thing that I noticed when I installed the RXTs before the coilovers and went up 3in, the snout just disappeared. That was so nice. A bit of it came back after I did the coilovers. Running level all the time with more snout blocking the view would suck. Haha!

So i installed option 3 today. really simple and took maybe 2 hours?(was cleaning each leaf since they were full of mud) rides really smooth with my RTT. no vibrations. and it lifted it a good 1inch. the truck has a little rake and it sits perfect! i’ll get pictured tomorrow!

haven’t driven without weight yet, hopefully it’s not that stiff after it settles with the Rtt. i say if anyone is going for this leaf pack and you carry decent amount of weight. go with option 3 right from the bat. no complaints and rides smooth

The instructions on the ICON website says to ensure a liner is installed between each leaf. Do they include this liner in the kit or does it need to be purchased separately? I'm assuming this refers to the scenario where the extra leaf is being added or swapped in.

I'm trying to decide between level 2 and 3. There will always be at least a diamondback HD.. future state is a rack + rtt but with removing the rack and tent more often than not....thinking 2 is my best bet

They include spacers but not liners, at least for my packs, anyway. I bought liners as well.

With all that, I would go with level 3.

You think even with not having the rack + rtt 80ish% of the time?

How will it ride if you don't have the 600lbs static load? I'm in the same boat with only about 200lbs all the time and maybe up to 600 loaded if that (excluding passengers).

I think you've just convinced me too. I was going with option 2, but since I'm paying for labor, I might as well just go all in now. I already paid for AAL once before, so this is going to be the second time I'm paying for the rear. I'd really hate it if i had to go in for the 3rd time anytime soon. The only concern for me is driveline vibes if I have too much rake. I supposed I could throw in an extra few lbs in the bed to bring it down to counter any vibes? Shieeet.

Apartment living sucks boys. I hardly have space to park, let alone wrench on the truck.

Yeah i get it. why pay twice in labor when u can do it once. throw some sand bags in for a bit and it’ll settle.

i’m only carrying RTT bed rack and maybe 50 more pounds of random stuff back there? no vibrations either. rides like butter considering that option is for 600 pounds

Whatever the standard is for these. Long enough to fit the super thick RXT pack and still need trimming for sure. I can measure if needed.
