Yeah, I thought about going back to Henckels.

They have a wider variety so it just seems like the right ticket.

4-8 week lead time on a new third member lol

    Hmmm

TG has 5.29 thirds with a Detroit in stock but I'm not really keen on $1800+ shipping lol

Can't you just get the gears and a rebuild kit and have a local place set the 3rd up?

InB4 "there's no where local that can do that" while living on the front range near one of the USAs wheeling Meccas :flipoff2:

I don't really either unless it's in a cocktail, but good tequila does go down nice and smooth

Oh shit if you find a gear set you could slap that together and still be able to make it!

the crush sleeve seems to have failed. Pinion nut was still staked but the pinion is walking on the carrier. All the teeth are there though.

I tightened it up a 1/4 turn with the 1/2" DeWalt and can still spin the diff flange with 2 hands well enough to turn the 37 tire on the front (only one side is on lol) but I'm super concerned about it blowing up. I don't want to be the one showing up knowing my shit is broken and then breaking it and ruining the run for everyone lol

Was just saying that, I don't do tequila alone. But good stuff is stupid smooth....so smooth it's too easy to get drunk off it.

We did Dan's clutch yesterday, the TB and WP the day before. I did Mike's idle ignition tune and general drivability tuning yesterday... I built some battery cables.. shit there's more, that clutch was surprisingly tough cause of some rust. Anywho I'm going to do at least something to my own truck cause I feel bad neglecting it haha.

You ever mix it with fresh lime juice and maybe a drop of agave? Now it's a cocktail ;)

    Fuck yeah!

I'm hoping to pick up a welding cart tomorrow. Been doing a lot of moving but "getting something together" gives me motivation to do more. Seeing things coming to fruition that is.
