Mine look like that too after one winter. If I had known I would have tried something to prevent it. Not sure what though. From what I've read pretty much all brands end up looking like that if you live in a northern state.

i live in TN lol, but yeah we saw a decent amount of salting. Same on the prevention side, as a former Arizonan im still learning the nature of the salt beast

i’ll probably get some fluid film on the bodies, not sure if ill do the shafts, dont want to cause any premature leaks.

Just throwing my experience in on this thread. I installed this lift kit yesterday. I replaced my ready lift 3/2 lift. At the second clip I am a little higher then what the 3” spacer was setting at. I used the Eibach rear shocks with a 2” block. No problem. One hint when installing the front struts you do not need to remove the tie rod.

Haven’t measured the back yet but looks pretty even to me with the 2” blocks. But also keep a canopy on my truck.

For those of you on the second notch. What do you have in the back and how much rake do you have?

it seems like if you’re on the second notch it’s been to have at least a 2in aal in for some rake?

I have the 1.5'' 3 leaf progressive AAL from Wheelers, and left the overload in. It sits about 1'' higher in the rear. Adding 1/4 spacers to the front soon to gain another 0.5'' lift. I have added armor/weight added to the truck also.

So I talked to eibach and they don’t recommend anything over 1.5 in the rear for third gens

How are so many running more or dakars and being ok?

They probably meant with their kit’s rear shocks. You just need longer shocks to accommodate the higher springs/rate

Just installed eibach pro truck kit today.
Looks super nice, and rides great and haven't even aligned yet. Maintained a bit of rake almost looks level.
Im on the 2nd clip upfront with factory UCA's. Rear has 2inch wheelers add a leaf. Also removed the sway bar. 265/70/17's as of now but going 285/70/17 tomorrow. Will update on how this kit rides + with bigger tires. Only driven about 5 miles but feels much better then factory. Before and after pics

    Overload left in?

They mentioned at eibach you don’t want to go over 1.5 in the rear with theirs. I was going to do the exact setup but going to run the extended Bilsteins in the back instead

Yeah overload left in. Pretty sure you are supposed to leave it in with a single aal. But yeah I thought about that, but I saw people in this thread running the 2 inch aal so I just went with it. Also was trying to keep rake or at least level and I feel 1.5 aal would have made truck sit nose high on the 2nd notch.

There is a post by one of the Eibach reps in the Pro-Truck stage 2 thread that says they have thier own trucks and test rigs running over 2" and they are fine.

So think it’s ok to go over 1.5 with the stage one?

Best bet is to call Eibach. They will give you the correct answer.
