How's the process of installing it or did a shop install it for you?

I just taped up the template and drilled holes. Wasn’t hard

I just used the template and drilled holes, there's a piece of metal right where the studs go through the headliner so it wasn't as easy as poking holes through some fabric and cardboard. Its still pretty easy though, took me longer to route the wiring.

So I have a weird issue. Wondering if others have too.

I install my sp9100 almost a year a go or more. Only have a pair of fog lights hooked up to it. Ss3 c2s

About 2 weeks ago the panel stopped working and the red light was on indicating a fault somewhere. Last Saturday I poked around and unhooked the fog lights and still had a fault. I then in did the power and ground to the sp9100 and it seemed to reset it and it was fine.

However tonight. While parked. My dog lights would come on and flicker periodically. Eventually the red light came on for fault again.

None of my wiring is showing signs of a fault. It's all well sheathed up and not very old.

Has anyone had an 9100 go bad in general like this?

I had something weird like that happen on my brothers truck (lights would randomly come on or turn off) and discovered that the negative / ground cable was loose. Tightened it up and haven’t had any issues since.

Had the same error at one point and it was a loose ground I didn't tighten properly after installing a battery tender.

That sort of seemed to fix it last time. Although no way it's loose now. Maybe the ring terminal is going bad. I'll check that

I have my ground to the battery negative terminal as well. The instructions specify that over a chassis ground so I didn't take any chances.

Its been addressed a few times. there is not much to it. Just connect the 2 wires from the locker to the switch pro and good to go. The harrop has some delay engaging so it seems like its not working at first but its fine. setup itself is simple. I later removed it to free up my switch pro switches to the included switch but the connection is simple. no polarity either on switch pro so either wire on +/-.

No ditch lights, but I have two Diode Dynamics light bars behind my grille, 2 Diode Dynamics 2” amber pods on L/R of Prinsu rack, and a Dunarri-Pierce chase light on the rack as well. It’s relatively simple to organize and conceal the wiring. I have a pretty lengthy technical background in telecom and fire alarm installation, so I kinda have all the wiring organization tricks of the trade at my disposal.

My advice would just be to use wire loom and shrink wrap in every possible place to keep things looking OEM. Use plenty of zip ties and buy yourself some flushcuts to snip off the zip tie ends(neglecting to use flushcuts leaves very sharp edges on zip tie ends that can literally rip/gash into your arms or hands/knuckles). Use QUALITY 3M electrical tape. Use waterproof shrinkwrap/solder butt connectors. Use shrinkwrap over ALL of your wire junctions and terminations. Run ancilliary wiring along with existing wire harnesses when possible. Pay close attention to any sharp edges that could potentially cut into your wiring and ensure your wiring is secured away from them or protected with split plastic loom. Consider a bus bar for your grounds or perhaps aftermarket battery terminals like the ones from SDHQ(as seen in my photo), each of which have 3 dedicated tiedown points separate from your mains for power and ground connections.

You could also install a terminal block for your harness connections. Personally, I won’t use one for this application. A terminal block makes things easier, but it also introduces a break in each circuit and since most terminal blocks are not watertight, it increases the chance for corroded terminals and opens/shorts. I prefer each of the wires in my circuit to be fully intact from harness to harness. Fully intact = maximum reliability

I can't seem to figure out why bluetooth won't connect with my phone. I've unplugged every connection, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I know it's on, but it still won't show up on the detect devices. Any ideas??

Have you done a full power cycle on the truck AND your phone? Had the same issue and a full disconnect from the battery and hard reset on my phone fixed it for me.

I've also asked a friend who ran into the same issue what his fix was and it was just swapping from an Android device to an Apple device to connect to bluetooth. It would seem the module has issues with the Android os.

Also maybe check if bluetooth was accidentally disabled.

Mine still is on the fritz. Grounds are all clean and good. Unbolting the ground resets it and it's good for like a day or two then fails again.

Is there play in the 4 pin connector that goes to the control panel? Power it up and push and pull on that connector. I had issues once and found out there was an issue with that connection. Things would work sporadically and finally discovered that was losing connection causing everything to go crazy.
