So after seeing many threads about good and bad dealerships I thought I would make this thread in case anyone was interested in buying a Kawasaki in the DFW area. First of all I want to be honest and tell you that my granddad, Sammy White, owns “Sammy White’s Kawasaki City.” However, I do not work for him. I do not own a Kawasaki myself, being that I’m in college and can’t afford it. But if you are in the area and looking for a new Kawasaki I would suggest checking him out. He is the #1 Kawasaki dealers in America, he sales more than any other dealer. He does this by having the lowest price. He runs his business differently than most dealers in that he has no salesmen on staff. Every one that works for him is an employee and works on salary. Second he has flat no-negotiable prices, he believes in being fair to everyone so everyone has to pay the same price. When you enter his shop all the prices for everything are already listed and match the prices on his website. He does no tricks to get people in the door. The only sales he offers are strait from the manufacturer. He also sales CAN-AM and SEA DOO as well. He has 2 locations one in Irving and the other in Lancaster. If anyone here has done business with them feel free to share even if its negative.

    Here is his website

I bought a ninja 650 from him about 4 years ago. Good process and no hidden fees. Probably the best experience I have ever had at buying a vehicle.

How do you make money if everything is sold at cost? Just wondering from a business standpoint.

Oh he doesn't sale at cost, sorry if I mislead you. He sale everything with a 3% profit. Which is lower than most salesmen will go. He tries to keep as close to wholesale as possible, while still making a profit.

I like a place that doesn't have sales people. Most places I have experienced that have salaried employees selling the product are more intuitive to the customers needs and concerns. Since the pressure isn't on them to sell they don't try to throw some BS to you. That is a low profit, but most places that have such good customer service makes you want to come back for parts/accessories and bike service. They really want you to become a long term customer.

Your right on about the returning customers. He has people come from all over to buy from him because they know what the price is going to be before they get there. He even has people come from Mexico to buy from him. It is a low profit, but he sales so much that he ends up doing better then most dealerships.

Yep, when I lived in the DFW area I checked out his shop. Very low key and no pressure. I was impressed with the prices. I ended up buying a used bike but would buy from Sammy if going new.
