Sport hood scoop lights

Putting a light in my skewp is low priority right now.

I'd rather start with my Raptor Lights in the Empyre Vintage TRD Grill I need to install...lol!

 

Ch4x4 has nice products... but the blue light does not correctly match the Tacoma OEM blue... it is deeper blue and brighter illumination.

I highly suggest AOB for colour matching switches. I have had both... definitely prefer AOB.

I've seen your video not that long ago.

The wiring portion is not something I would look forward to.

Also, is there a lightbar that fills most of the length of the skewp? (I'm sure there is; I've seen some on Amazon that are 17 or 18 inches in length)

 

everyone has their preferences. I prefer the better (more choices) logo'd ch4x4 stuff. as for the light color and brightness... with the break out harness, you can dim them to the same level as all your other dash lights/switches. it is all good. Ski

 

nice install vid. my guess is, you probably dont get all the light available, due to your bug deflector and the raised center section of it.

with the set up I have, with low beam or bright lights on, with or without my diode dynamics 32" on, I can see the added light in the pattern when I turn on the scoop light. is it huge? no... but, it is noticeable, and lightens up the pattern in the center, right in front of the truck. Ski

 

Yes I have the SpartanX scoop light. He was on Instagram but I think he is out of the light business. I do have an extra with the brackets but it has one LED out
