I am the cook as well. I do not do the dishes. Once the meal is on the table that is it for me. When we sit down there are no dirty pots or anything in in the sink. I do was the pots and pans before dinner.

We had 14 for dinner yesterday, easter meal was a feast. First time I smoked scalloped potatoes, they were a hit. My wife told me later on the potatoes were the best I have ever cooked.

During the break before dessert, we hung the awning on the wall. Had a problem with one bracket and had to rework the top hole that houses the awning retaining bolt in one of the wall brackets. Manufacture had the top hole off center and we could not place the nut on the bolt. Small problem. I will get the awning operational this week.

Today is surgery on the right eye. Let the fun begin.

    Mornin'...........................cooooofieeeee

Hope all had a good Easter. We actually went to a new Church. Very welcoming!

Came home and I cooked. We bought a ham from our neighbor: https://alluvialfarms.com/
Sides: Raab, fingerling potatoes sauted with sweet onions, Israeli couscous and Puy lentils.

EDIT: Weather - no frost in 2 days, glorious sun yesterday. Rain today.

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals! Glad you all enjoyed your Easter - we had son home for his Birthday Dinner. Now back to the real world of trying to find a window glass repair business here around town. And a list of things in the book to get after.

Well I guess the pole barn could be seen as finished... although the electrician has been having problems getting the final parts to replace the house service and connect the electricity. So these will be the last pics. I christened the building by doing the first oil change in it on the Taco. Nice to have cover and a hard floor. I might even have to get a creeper.

You might note that there is an old ice chest being stripped inside the building. My wife's project. So technically SHE christened MY workshop by marking her territory inside my manspace, LOL. I'm actually really happy she feels part of it and will spend time with me instead of always in the house. We will be drinking tequila shots in it together soon on summer nights. Good times...
