That's a horrible idea. What time?
I'm in for the day. I may have Kim coming with his truck as well. (He was on the Blakey Ridge ride with me.) I don't know about Dan and Steve. You have a start time?

I'm there. May be a little later than 10am. I gotta get the trailer and load it up.

I may have to do just a day trip as well. Depends on others I guess.

In better news, I think the Heep is ready. Needs an alignment, but it can wait.

If I can solve the Tessa over night issue, I'll stay. Right now, I don't have a plan.

I'm in, will bring my little 4x7 utility trailer and electric dewalt chainsaw. First stop though will be the articulation station when I get there

I'll have the 5x8 U-Haul trailer so we can fill that up, too.

Well I'm bringing my utility trailer if there's oak rounds involved! I have my M18 chainsaw, some wedges and an extra chain should cut it...though I haven't asked about the size of these oaks!

Good point, I could rent a real chainsaw for the weekend if we think we need it. My Dewalt is only a 12" bar.

I don't know about DeWalt, but Milwaukee makes a beast of a battery run chain saw. Or go traditional. You do live in the woods now.

The full size dewalt equivalent is a beast as well.

I cut up a dozen poplar trees that were on average 83 ft long all with my Milwaukee... Granted I did it over two weekends, it's just a lot less fuss than dealing with my gas powered equivalent (no fuel just bar and chain oil)

But there's just something about the sound and power of a gas chain saw

I think there will be plenty of saws.

Most of the oaks are around 16” diameter 30’ tall

Biggest lie I've read all day. There are never enough chain saws. EVER!

I've got 4 batteries so I should be OK, I can charge them with the truck bed outlet as they run out.
