Yooooo TW! I just joined the club and love my new 2020 OR. It’s new to me and has a clean carfax but I noticed something odd with the passenger side rear bumper. The spacing is noticeably different between the two sides. Does it come this way off the factory line?

I definitely bought it this way and in my excitement I must’ve overlooked it.

    Here’s a pic of both sides: https://imgur.com/a/CRli6Cm

    A few questions:
does it look like something that can be fixed?
If so, is it worth fixing?
how would you fix it, if at all?

    thanks tacomabros

It’s a common issue and can be adjusted. I’ve never done it but I’ve seen this discussed here several times.

Welcome to the forum. Toyota says it’s in specifications but it drove me nuts so I went to Harbor Freight and bought a M55 Torx bit loosen up the bed bolts and shifted the bed to even out the gaps.

Thanks for the reply. My weak searching skills haven’t been fruitful and would definitely appreciate a link to any of those threads!

When I added my Apogee Offroad rear bumper to get rid of the plastic cr@p I spent a lot of time adjusting and adjusting to get it to have the correct spacing. It can be done but PITA to be sure...

These sorts of threads remind me of the many times I meet up with my girlfriend and within 30 seconds she points out a tiny stain on my pants or a tiny hole in my shirt.
