Might sound wrong.. but at least he went out like that instead of withering away. I feel like you know what I mean.

I know exactly what you mean, the preacher said something to that nature while preaching his funeral as well. I hate it for him and his family, he was truly one of the best people I've ever known.

We had a guy that was a founding member of the Department in 1969.. served 30 years as the Chief and 50 years total.. and now he's just withering away at home.. I don't want that at all.. rather go out with a bang !

    Reserected from the dead.
There is a relay installed in the control box. It closes the trigger circuit, thus turning on the cutter. There is a 2 wire conductor going from the control box to the plasma cutter cabinet. I tied into the trigger conductors in the plasma cutter cabinet.

The relay gets it's signal to fire from the PC.

The PC is told when to fire the torch from the Mach3 software.

The Mach3 program gets it's information when to fire the torch from the Gcode that was generated by the Fusion 360 "post processor".

Build your own plasma table they said.

It will be fun they said.

There is a lot going on and a lot that can go wrong.

With all that said, my plasma cutter also resets if you lose continuity, but there is a 1.5(est) second delay. This allows me to keep my finger on the trigger when cutting mesh. It still happens in occasion, but not enough to bother me.

I don't want to wither away either and feel like I'm a burden to someone but we don't know when our time will be.

Steel truck brought some metal, they had 3 pallets of water for someone. Wonder what a pallet of water cost from a steel company

    RE: Poll

I really try to avoid anything more than a six foot stepladder anymore, seems I get dizzy on ladders which can be inconvenient.

A few years ago I was on a (not bad) roof, minding my own business, suddenly a voice boomed out in my head saying: "YOU DON'T BELONG UP HERE!"

Yes, I had an unprovoked case of the willies -- no incident, just a sudden unexpected terror attack.

Well, I clung to the shingles until my heart rate got down below 200 and shaking like a wet dog finished the job. I crawled off the roof and haven't been on one since.

I re-roofed our store several years ago and got some friends to help, wasn't bad at all. One of my friends who helped is a fireman, come to find out he's scared of heights  Our house isn't any bigger, it's just steeper and not for me. Wife found the weather vane by the back of the house yesterday, roofers forgot to put it back on the pole. Guess who said he'd do it this week

We sell a pallet of water for $.15 each bottle. With 2,016 bottles per pallet, that's $302.40 delivered.
Is it bad if the mill computer shuts off?

It is bad if the mill computer shuts off, especially if it's in a cut.
