Yes it’s definitely a missing feature they need to rectify as it’s still listed on the Toyota canada website.

Nope. No news. I'm not that bothered and am debadging the rest of the truck too.

If I'm entitled to one, I will take it. I'm just not sure if I will install it.

I read alot of you looking at dealerships for Pros & thought I would just share I see quite an influx on Kijji (Calgary area). Prices are high but a couple seemed reasonable, not sure if anyone cares...but I thought it might help anyone out that is looking for one. Best of luck!

 

I drove to the dealership this morning.As I was approaching I saw a car carrier coming in the opposite direction with its signal light on. Man I got excited.Two tacomas on it but no Lunar Rock. Driver said he will be back on wednesday,maybe then.

 

For all the guys that have taken delivery of your 22’ TRD Pro. What was the interest rate from dealer offered?
I have other means to buy with cash if necessary. the Toyota.ca website shows a 4.19% on 60 month term for the
TRD Off-Road. But no info for the Pro’s rate.

 

Shows 4.19% on 60 months for the Pro for me when I go on the site.

 

that’s interesting, historically the pro always had 6.xx% interest rates. Which I found weird.

I believe it's that the decal and badges are backordered, so they delivered truck first then very likely mail the missing parts to your home in the future. I don't know how you are gonna put the decal on byself but probably dealer will help. Same kinda thing happened to my off road, the tow package was included, but the tow hinge ball was backordered, after about 3 months, the delivery man showed up at door saying a part from Toyota, which was the ball. Very weird.

 

In the build and price section. PRO finance is same as all other Tacomas this year. My bill of sales states lower rate, since I signed up in October, rate has gone up since then

So I just had the rug pulled on my Pro, after three months of checking in every two weeks...

ETA pushed back a few times, finally it was in the Toyota Canada compound in Montreal but on hold waiting on "missing parts".

Friday, a call from a new sales associate who then informed me that unfortunately there was a 40% reduction in manufacturing and I would not be getting my Tacoma as planned!

I asked why I'd so recently been led to believe it was in Montreal, and the associate changed their story to explain that unfortunately I was the second in line for this TRD Pro!

I had in fact confirmed up front that this was an allocated but unsold TRD Pro, my salesman assured me that was the case when I placed my deposit. He even sent a screenshot of the allocation page with my name on it...

I asked him to explain how they could make such a mistake and why anyone would trust them with a deposit when things like this happen? He didn't have anything.

Then I asked him to get me a written statement explaining the situation and how they would prevent it from happening again from the GM, at which point he hung up on me.
