Bottled water: Years ago the only bottled water is stores was distilled for use in an iron.

A worker walks up to the vending machine and buys a bottle of water for $1.50, in her hand is an empty bottle.

Rusty: Why don't you just fill your bottle at the drinking fountain?
Worker: This water is better.
R: Let me see that bottle -- look here, source: wherever Municipal
W: What does municipal mean?
R: It is city water, just like the drinking fountain.
W: Well ... It is still -- better...
R: It is bottled in a factory -- just like this one -- by the same people.
W: slow look of horror comes over her face

R: (my work here is done)

Most bottles water is revers osmosis water. Could have come straight from the trough urinal at a pro ball game on 50 draft night. It's gonna be the same no matter where you get it.

In fact pure water does little for a person and in many cases the RO water is acidic, hence you often see the water is "buffered". Meaning they had to add some sort of high pH material to raise the pH. Most places use lye or Caustic, another name is Draino.

I try to stay away from bottled water unless there are no places to fill my own container.

The bottled water companies loved all the drinking fountains shut down the last 2 years.

 

I will say that Fastenal water is spring water, so not as bad as that.

To the poll question, not really scared of heights. But i dont like rickety ladders. Been up past the top of a tail of 747 in a Genie lift. A little nerve racking. Roofs are ok so long as its not steep which is a big nope for me.

Nex time.. paint the whole thing white then tape off for the blue and red.. the colors will lay down better

I almost did that...if it looks off ill sand and repaint. Still have to wait either way so i just opted for 2 colors first

 

I had leftover cans so put it to use. Its actually more blood red camera throws it off a tint. I did try to adjust it a little

 

We have several water dispenser throughout the plant with those 5 gal bottles on them.
Ol' fella who's now retired used to do water quality test for a couple of towns locally. He said the water coming out of our taps at work is better than the bottle stuff. Our works water is drawn from two wells then goes through our own water treatment.

Ford blue, yes. Farm equipment isn’t usually lime green

 

I'm watching and waiting for the UPS truck. I ordered those shifter bushings and the driver didn't leave them at the door last week. Usually they just leave the package on the porch or if the gate is closed they would hang it from a bag or set next to the gate if heavy. It could be that the wind was so heavy that day he didn't want it blowing into the next county.
