Despite the crappy weather, I did manage to get my hot water heater in and abandon the old tankless in the boiler. Struggled a couple times, but no more inconsistent hot water!

Still cheaper to run than the boiler, especially in summer!

Agreed, I don't even use my residential coil in the winter because the electricity to heat the water is cheaper than the oil.

I don't have the problem with temperature though, mine hovers at a nice steady 140 degrees or so through the coil.

Yea I need to turn the low limit down as far as it'll go now.

My tankless was a crappy setup so there was no constant temperature.

82 degrees right now in Daytona Beach. Just got out of the pool. Hope PA temps go up as the week goes on. We need to get home by Friday night. One of Dianne's aunt's passed away and service is Saturday.

Basement envy, :jellydance::jellydance::jellydance: mine is a miserable hole with field stone walls, I can stand about 3/4 the way up.

    A.O. Smith, quality brand.
When I put my new WH in I replaced the drain valve with a copper nipple and a 1" ball valve, that moves any sediment out in a hurry.

(Don't forget to plumb your T&P valve down by the floor.);)
