    Thinking of running medium dakars.

I hear different opinions on what’s best.

i was going to go with the eibach lift but they recommended not to run anything over 1.5 on the rear on 3rd gens.

so figured extended 5100s would be the way to go.

I want a front that want sag as bad and will give me a slight rake.

    OME 888 with heavy dakars

hopefully this will give you an idea.

mediums will sit a bit lower, and so will 887’s. Rake should be the same

    3 months lol. Then I snapped a Bilstein 5100.

went to a 6” lift, and ran the OME 888 spring and OME leaf pack paired with a 3” block for another 4 years before getting a custom Alcan leaf pack…still have the 888 coils on my 6” strut tho, running strong!

I’m running the medium dakars with 887 up front. Other than having to buy new tires I’m pleased with it so far

What size tires are you running? And how much rake did you get?

I also run the 887 with Dakar heavies but also have a canopy. Now 4 years after lift my hub to fender measurements are 22.5 front and 25 rear. So about half an inch more rake than stock (factory usually is 21 front and 22 rear, for 1 inch of rake). Without the canopy its about 1 inch more rake than factory.
