I didn't say it was a good deal; I'm shocked it was under twenty grand!

 

Still an absurd price, but lol

 

I saw a 2010 RC 5-speed 4x4 listed online for almost $20K; It was here in PA, but a I forget where. It had almost 120K miles on it, but it was in good condition. My 2010 RC 5-lug with 148K is worth over $12K, and this particular stealership would probably list it for $14K. Ironically, this is the same dealership where I got my truck new in September 2009 for just under $15K!

 

I’m not against crank windows.
Once you don’t have working AC, you’ll understand why.

 

What would pay for this truck?

 

$12k tops. And that’s if I knew the history and what’s been done to it.
I’d want to be closer to 10k, but that’s not happening right now.


To be honest, it doesn’t help that I don’t need that truck.
I’m mean, I basically already have that truck.

 

I also found this 2013 DCSB SR5 at Peruzzi; Almost 150K miles on it and they want $23K!

You're pondering selling your truck due to high gas prices; CarShop in Hatfield has a backlot where they keep all the vehicles that didn't make the cut are kept before going to the wholesale auction. I found two decent (far from perfect, but decent) 2nd Gen Tacomas on this lot, and our conversation about the generally lackluster gas mileage of Tacomas came to mind; The owners of these respective trucks traded them in for something more efficient!

 

It has an argent grille!

 

The first one I saw was this 2008 DCSB TRD Sport rolling on what appear to be 3rd Gen wheels...

Also on the wholesale lot at CarShop was this red 2006 DCLB SR5, with wheels that appear to be from an early 2000s Sequoia...?

The red truck was locked, but it would appear that it was sold new at the Toyota dealer next door to CarShop, which also happens to be where my dad bought my truck new!

 

19K?

Damn... Well it might be a regional thing, but I just picked up this 2014 Access Cab TRD Sport with 112K miles for $21K. Frame is near spotless considering...

 

And just like that, I no longer think this white truck is a good deal!

 

Gotta remember too, you're in a more densely populated area. That will drive some prices up. I live in farm country.

This one was serviced at the local dealer every 5K for oil changes and tire rotations. Had a couple transmission services and just received a buttload of services... Runs and drives like it has a 1/4 of the miles.
