I’ve got a 99 Toyota xtra cab trying to install a viper alarm. For the door trigger negative and positive I have no clue which wire to tap into. Some say to tap into the dome light but I’m unsure which wire that is as. I’ve looked at all the wiring diagrams and nothing has worked for me so far. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you I appreciate that diagram. Would it be easier to wire into the dome light or into the door triggers? I know with the door triggers I would have to get two diodes.

I would wire directly into the door triggers. Wiring into the dome could cause an issue if a fuse is blown.

Okay but wiring into the door triggers which for me would be green and green/white would require diodes correct?
