New Taco warranty - 5 or 10 years

Nope. My new ‘21 will be my 5th new Tacoma Ive bought over the years. I keep them til the wheels fall off and so far Ive never needed an extended warranty.

Its a bit of a gamble, so far Im way ahead by not paying upfront for a possible mystery repair.

Extended warranties are probably the highest profit item sold at dealerships , so they really do a great job pushing them and giving you the “its just peace of mind that you deserve ” sales pitch. Hard Pass.

I get why some people think it's a waste. I bought one for my 2010 F150 Platinum and it paid for itself so for less than $18/ month it's a gamble I'm willing to take.

 

I actually had no idea it is $0 deductible

 

This last point was my first and only experience with extended warranty. Never again
