I installed a "2022 Carlinkit 3.0 Wireless CarPlay Dongle Adapter" to get wireless Carplay in my '22. I know some people have given mixed reviews. It has horrible Engrish instructions, I can see people getting confused. But I have it installed, and so far it works flawless. I turn on the truck, and 33 seconds later (from the instant I hit the start button) Carplay is up. That's about as long as it takes me to back out of my garage, put my left hand mirror back out etc. Even if once a month or so it goofs up and I have to reset it, that's fine. Heck, 1 out of 10 times I plugged in the cable into the iPhone it didn't work and I had to plug it in again.

If it works like it has so far, I'm very happy with the addition.

    None yet.
It took me 4 months to find the time, but I finally installed the @Apogee Offroad front bumper tonight, with @Baja Designs lighting and @runnin4tacos bumper caps.

Hopefully tomorrow I rally and put the Bilstein 6112s on to support it.

Retired the old ditch lights and replaced them with low profile mounts and lights. Much better visibility...

Loved mine too! But I sold them after I got some Pro Comp 1069 series wheels with 4” backspace and -12 offset with plans for 35’s. Now I’m considering 17” wheels with bead locks for the 35’s. o_O It’s never ending! :annoyed:

$400 for all 4. Figured it was cheaper than buying a whole new set of wheels. Very happy with the color and quality of it.

So the light swap isn’t worth the risk?

Thinking of getting this. I think I might want to get the longer arms though. I like the quality!

I had to swap mine irregardless, because my oem gasket was completely dissolved. The @tacomalifestyle light is actually pretty cool. Super bright, flash option, but the mounting posts for the nuts are half the length of the oem and it uses 8mm nuts instead of the 10mm oem size. Most of the gripe has to do with sealing up Toyota's flaw and pulling the headliner down a bit to give your hands/ socket access. The oem light was installed before the headliner at the factory, so it's a bit difficult to swap whether you do another oem or the tacomalifestyle version.

Hahaha! I had the same problem! Big pain in the ass to install- and there’s a socket floating around in the frame for eternity
