Is this necessary? I thought the wind deflector typically mounted with some clearance from the paint.

Mostly fixed my fender after caving it in this weekend. Also making plans to route the intake into the cowl.

Custom RTIC TacoCup for coffee in the truck. Was a little pricey at $50, and they rejected the design at first due to copyright blah blah -- but i reminded them that Tacoma is just a city in Washington that i like...

I bought the swing arm on marketplace and had an offroading fab shop out her in KS fab up the tire carrier so the fitment doesn’t complete block my camera. It’s still useful to make sure I’m far enough into a spot. Otherwise I primarily use my mirrors when reversing.

At some point I’d like to wire up anytime front and rear cameras and extend it out so that I can have a “fully” functional reverse cam again.

Almost bought bed stiffeners. Went with a very high quality option out there and swallowed the price of it but just couldn't bring myself to pay the $30 ground shipping charge on top. I'm not cheap but don't like feeling taken advantage of.[/QUOTE]

This is me too. I don't mind spending for quality. But it seems some vendors are also trying to make money on the shipping as well. So frustrating!

This is the new reality for consumers. People inventing higher prices for X Y Z, like the big corps raising prices on everything and blaming imaginary never-ending "global supply chain issues".

This is the new standard. Everyone better buckle up cause the boomer corporate bootlickers are coming for everyone's savings accounts to make up for the slow economic growth of the pandemic. It won't end anytime soon.

You could see if shipping is better from this vendor.

I wasn't referring to bed stiffeners specifically, just a general observation on the appearance of some vendors inflating the price of shipping well beyond the actual shipping costs.
