Crosstrek indeed. With nearly 9” of ground clearance and me being a welterweight it’s really not that bad. Just not that much fun anymore.

 

So some feedback from a crosstrek owner with a fumoto, do it That paired with the oil filter being up top, easy peasy. I always just drove the car onto a few pieces of scrap lumber, just to get some extra clearance from this dad belly lol.

 

I've gotta make some for the Supra since it's so low to the ground. My low profile jack won't fit once I put on a front lip to the bumper

Honestly these are cheap compared to others. Mk4 is like $70k and higher MK3 can be $7-25k and mine is on the cheaper side haha

 

The things I would do for a 2JZ Mk4 I'd also love to get my hands on the new GR Corolla

 

Would be about 80-100k depending on options and mileage. Yup that's my next car that I want, the Circuit Edition would be killer but they aren't allocating anymore than 8k GR Corolla's until sometime next year. So I'll wait for the demand to go down hopefully

 

I don't expect to ever have one, given the limited number and my unwillingness to overpay; My next best thing was going to be a wrx hatch, but given the STI is a goner, I expect the used Subie market to blast off next.

Not Toyota tho! Supra just got announced with manual option and that GR Corolla is going to be a huge hit but like I said earlier they may not make enough for the demand of it

But why aren’t they making them in Japan at a real Toyota plant? I would think Supra enthusiasts (which you know way more than me) wouldn’t be a fan of the contract Austria deal along with the new bmw.

 

It was a way to quickly get the flagship Supra into the masses. The new GR Corolla is made in the same factory as the LFA in Japan and is 100% all Toyota. So a lot of people are now saying the GR Corolla is the new flagship since it's all Toyota. I hope the Mk6 ( ) would be all Toyota next but who knows I'm just a fanboy in Georgia haha

 

Did a tune up on this one yesterday.
