    Thanks! I got it from an aluminum foundry that was shutting down… it needs some love. But it drills holes well enough.

    I did mount the vice, a nice harbor freight special.

    Everytime I ask a tech question on here I get no response but gonna ask a simple on anyway.

    When you are mounting a big coilover like a 12 or 14" Do you zip tie it down to your travel max? So, if im planning for 5" of up do I press the shock down 5' from bottomed out and make my upper mounts based on that?minus an inch I guess.

    Iirc 2008 is when the LS3 started.

    LS2 was in 2005-07, and only 05-06 had the 4L vs the 6L transmission.

    I've had a few C5s, a C6, many C4s and even a C3
