Nice setup! Any clearance issues with the UCA over the coilover?

    None yet.
So I haven’t done any driving with it, other than backing it out of the garage and parking it in reverse in the driveway.

i was convinced I’d have 6” of lift with the high circlip (5/4) and 700# spring. But it only had 1” of lift.

To answer your question: no. But it’s still early. The installation was tiiiiight and required some pulling down on the LCA to get the eyelet at the bottom of the 6112 to sit in the pocket.

I also anticipated the UCA issue and bought some Bilstein UCAs but the bushings are giving me hell… so tomorrow im driving her about 2 miles down the road to a shop and outsourcing the UCA install. #defeated

But thank you for the kind words! She’s a labor of love, for sure.

No shame in calling in the pros once you’ve reached your limit. You gave it a good effort! The new UCAs will really bring it all together and give you the full down travel that the longer shock affords. Enjoy the setup!

Just get it fixed with your insurance and be done with it. Shit happens, that's what insurance is for. :notsure:

Installed the pop n lock tailgate! The latest version with the plastic hook shaped piece installed incredibly nicely. Definitely a PITA running the wire along the harness up to driver's kick panel but it's done now and it will stay done for the life the truck!

Damn that sucks. It's inevitable that some sort of damage will happen at some point. Adds a little underlying anxiety when you buy a new truck. Hate that, but comes with the territory. Like the determination to park far away from others to prevent scrapes and scuffs.

Wow! You got in there good. Some of those paintless dent repair guys can do some amazing things. Hopefully you can get it fixed for a reasonable price without having to involve your insurance. :fingerscrossed:

I should have gone this route. The OE bed mat is thick and heavy. I’m sure this works as well to avoid stuff from sliding around. Maybe I’ll sell mine for a bit less than what the current sale price right now…:D

That's a damn good idea. I will do the same. What I'll do differently is allow the matt to extend maybe 6"+ onto the tailgate so act as a gap cover. Since it's 1/4" thick is should be pliable enough. I can add a strip of 3m double-sided underneath if it moves too much.
