The front brakes were partially disassembled, so I was thinking it was getting work done and they were keeping the wheels in a safe place until the job was finished...

Would this qualify? I do like these Kia Stingers a lot. I just wish the buying public would realize that they all don't need a crossover. Plus this Stinger is painted "Deep Chroma Blue." Though ironically I like these cars best in white.

And the TT V6s are fast! With a lot of work, it can be swapped into something unorthodox.

I found this potential gem sitting on the used car lot; 2003 Hyundai Accent 5-speed! I've heard that these cars are actually quite dependable if you take care of them, and aside from the obvious body damage this one was in decent condition. At least it was in decent condition; The front right tire was low on air, the inspection stickers expired before COVID started, and a low mileage economy car with a manual transmission and A/C for $2,500 is a steal in my opinion. It is not listed on the website, and there has got to be something wrong it with it aside from the body damage that kept it from selling...

Quite a few of the vehicles on the lot had long-expired inspection stickers...

I initially thought that this van was a Toyota HiAce, but the owner informed me that it was a Nissan, specifically a 1993 Nissan Homy; My favorite example of this type of van is the Mitsubishi Delica L300, specially the 4WD drive version. I have personally driven both an L300 and L400, and my research shows that the Delica is easier to find parts for stateside than the HiAce; As such, the HiAce is my second favorite. Last June, I found and photographed a 1997 Nissan Elgrand at a car show, but that was a different type of van than the Delica and HiAce; If it weren't for the Nissan emblems, anybody could mistake this van for a Toyota HiAce. I know next to nothing about the Nissan Homy, but I'd like to think that it's on par with a US-spec Hardbody pickup, an Altima, or a Maxima of the same era (again, this is a 1993)...

You never know what's going to show up at a small town car show; Seriously, I saw this guy pull up and excitedly ran over as fast as I could!

No kidding; When the owner of the van told me what model it was, I was thought he was affectionately calling it "his homie" until I saw the emblem on the back...

I was seriously considering a HiAce before I bought my Tacoma.

Still would like to have one but not sure I need a third vehicle.

If you look closely, you will see that this van has two cassette players; The one in the top is just an OEM AM/FM radio with a built-in cassette player; The cassette deck installed lower in the dash is just a cassette player and is apparently "fully automatic" (auto reverse?) while the one at the top is not, according to the owner...?

They've got a few on eBay! On eBay, I saw a 1980s Toyota "half-cab" van with a camper on the back; The inside was almost identical to that of a roughly 1983-1988 Toyota pickup. It had a manual transmission, A/C, and 4-wheel drive!

Very cool, I've seen one listed a few weeks ago at the dealer that sold me my Liteace (sold a while back). JDM vehicles from the 90's for sure are well built.
