Almost 6 months ago i met this wonderful girl and been seeing her since . Things have been going great til last week when she told me that our hearts are not in the same place right now and and she feels to be fair to the both of us that we should not string things along . Shes 33 been divorced for a year now and is on her own with her 2 kids she has that are boys and are 2 1/2 and 5 years old . I get along great with the kids . I have met all her family and they all love me . She tells me her feelings are not growing stronger for me . I talked to her about it and she says she dont have her own life figured out and me having such strong feelings for her is scaring her and things moving too fast . Now we are not talking like we always do and at the moment she wont let me see her . We have talked everyday and all day since we met and never missed a day . Now its like she dont really want to talk . I told her i care about her and she knows i do and i told her i dont feel things are over with us that we are good for each other and good things take time and she agreed with me . I told her if we need to slow things down and take a step back ill do whats needed to make it better for us. So im really still confused . Do i leave her alone and not text or talk to her til she talks to me and give her the space she needs and see what time does . Or do you think this is a way of her saying she wants nothing to do with me and trying to let me down slow to not hurt me . I really dont know . Maybe some of you that been there in these situations and let me know what you think . I really hope a little time will make her realize what shes doing and what a good thing she is throwing away . We will always be friends no mater what and shes told me she will always care for me . Well let me know if you have a chance and ty for listening and helping if you do .

Sounds like the "connection" is gone on her side of the relationship. Nothing you can do about it. I broke up with my girlfriend of a year and a half because I just didn't "feel the same" anymore. Once it's gone, there's no gaining it back.

Here's what I've learned.....there's a bazillion other women out there. They are all crazy but at different levels of craziness. Move on, live the dream a little, then find another one to settle with.

If she suddenly went cold turkey on you (after being normal for a while), something is up (maybe reparable). If she's been weaning off of you like a drug, well... put a fork in your relationship, because it's done.

You can't "make" someone love you. Everything happens for a reason. I've been in the same situation, and now I am married to the woman of my dreams...all because of a little heartbreak. You must rise above it, move on, accept her actions and don't look back.

i think this sounds like something i faced in high school. she found someone else, and is testing the waters there. She testing the waters because your a good guy and are there for her if it doesnt work out. I have found that on/off relationships never end well...

so in the nicest way possible, man up, walk away, and live your life. You gave yourself, she took, decided not what she wanted now your gonna get dragged along.

    move on

I'd just move on. No point dwelling on it when she isn't into it anymore. Just accept the fact that you guys had a good six months and things just didn't work out. It's time to get excited about life and find out what other things await you.

    Like getting some strange.

    But seriously.

Dude no matter what we tell you, your not gonna like the advise because you already made up your mind. The only way you guys are gonna part ways is if she pushes you away but by then she won't take you back.

The only chance you have (if you want to get back together) is if you completely step away for the reason "I deserve someone that is willing to give me 100% of themselves. I guess that isn't you."

Stick to your decision and walk away. No calling, texting, gossip, ect. NOTHING

If he does look for you....call me. I'll help you with step two :)
