    Question:

Does the driver power window control panel override the individual window switches on the other doors? I have a double cab. As in, if the switches were going bad in the driver control panel, would the switches at the door still work?

My RR window is acting up and functions semi-sporadically. The driver switch nor the RR door switch will make it roll up or down. But then it returns to normal after about 20 tries with the switch. If the driver switch is bad, would that prevent the individual door switch from powering the window up and down? Meaning, could the driver control panel switch needing to be replaced prevent proper individual door switch function?

I haven't gotten a chance to get my multimeter out yet and check resistance and voltage, just trying to plan ahead a little.

I scrummaged around some and there's little information that I could find about this particular topic. On previous vehicles, the individual switches have went out and the driver panel switches still worked or vice versa. It was easy to tell what the culprit was in that scenario.

I hope this makes sense lol.

It could be either of them, they have separate powers but ground goes through both switches no matter which one is being used if that makes sense.
I can pull you a wiring diagram later when I get home if you post what year your truck is.

    Ok here's the diagram.
Checking at the right rear switch Pin 2 (Green/Black) and Pin 4 (Green) should both be Grounded when the Master Switch is in the neutral position, Up on the Master Switch switches Pin 2 (Green/Black) to Power, Down on the Master Switch switches Pin 4 (Green) to Power.

Remember the circuits must be loaded (switches & motor plugged in) when checking with a meter.

The easiest way is to put your meter (or test light) leads across pins 2 & 4 with everything plugged in and activate the drivers switch, if you have power there but no movement move your leads to Pins 1 (Blue) & 5 (Blue/Black), if you have power there and no movement go to the motor and do the same check.

The rear switches are interchangeable so if you suspect a rear switch you can swap it with the other side and see if the problem follows.
