    @Wulf

    How the fuck do you get a pitman arm off a gear? I used freeze off and my pullers. Broke one puller. Then hit it with the map gas and it still won't come off. I got it half way and its stuck! Can't fit it in press. I don't want to cut off and have to file splines. Kinda pissed me off.

    That's pretty much it. Is it rusty?

    You can put it under tension with the puller, heat, and whack it on the side and hope it pops off

    Fuel pump on the Ford is pissing me off. Shop says it's a normal amount of noisy but I'm not happy.

    Took the lower filter off and cleaned the fuck out of the housing, threads, o ring for the 3rd or 4th time since I bought the truck before I greased the o ring, and put it together and it's quieter but still sounds like a kazoo

    Ok. The shaft is a little rusty but nothing crazy. I tried doing all that. I gave up so I could start fitting it in truck. Ill prob just weld some nuts to it so I can pull it better. Just thought there may have been a secret move on that fucker. lol Thanks!

    It is a bitch if it's been on there any amount of time lol

    Can't remember if they're hardened or not, but you can try and make a vertical cut (parallel with the splines) through it with the grinder to relieve some tension or completely cut it off

    I've done a mod or two
    I gave that a thought for a minute and no doubt I could have an axle shaft made although that would be a replacement parts nightmare. Real issue is the spindle isn't designed for a pass through, it's got a solid back, and the shock is dead center where the CV would need to go.
