the Np205 is what you find factory in old school big block 1 ton trucks, it's a tough ole tcase and often paired with a np203 for a doubler but that set up weighs like 800lbs lol

Making progress. Back pretty much set. Have to lower it 2 inches but that should just be a leaf or 2 w the bed on.

Redoing shit again. Cut off the first one. Making a proper high steer to work w a ram. Pain in the dick but can’t get one from Barnes and artec is out of my price range.

Got the missing piece. In good condition too! These things are bigger than they look in pics. I have a 10.5 shoe.

I’m not gonna lie. This is a super sucky project. I’m really not down to hack the truck up like this. The damn gear weighs like 30 lbs. I feel like a beaver chippin away at the nice new paint I sprayed. Still have to get it forward at least 3 more inches. FML!

Could you alternatively chop up that one that's on there now to make it shorter and change the angle? Only thing about that I'd be sketched about is just the quality of the weld and whether or not it would hold up.

That type of thing I don't have a problem buying. Its kind of important safety wise and I plan on driving this truck often. I have to get the damn gear in there far enough to figure out which one I need though. Then order. Ill prob make a temp one to cycle the steering so I can weld the lower link mounts.

Spent the whole day cleaning and organizing the shop. Got my DOM so I have to buckle down this weekend. Figured the final location of steering. Just need a flat arm. Cleaned up body. Just have to basically redo entire front of frame including the plate I welded on to mount it. Nothin new.

This is the look of a truck that only has 2 wheels. At least she is lowered in the back. Took one of the long leafs out.

This is the look of frustration.

Have a little bit of a game plan but none of the brackets I bought work. The axle side looks like it will work.

10ft….Jk it’s about 71. I honestly didn’t even measure. I had to put 1.5 spacers to match front. It’s like 86 outside to outside of tire.

How long are your lower links btw? How far inside your frame do they sit roughly? I see these 4wu mounts and it just seems way to triangulated for me to put them 4-6” inside frame.

This is where I’m at right now. Lower frame mount has to come down a few inches but I can’t hold it w a clamp. Lower axle mount set at 10 degrees down, caster 5 degrees.

Anyone feel free to comment. Idk wtf I’m doing. Any advice would prob save me time.

Just found out why the links have to be so far inset as soon as I put wheel on and turned it all the way. Mounts out. DOM link mount is only easy option.
