More spring storms this am. Some rain, gusty winds, and of course power was on/off/on briefly, enough to cycle the generator a few times. Hard on the switch contacts. Power company has been busy building new lines this year. More lines = more chance of outage? IDK. New UPS picked up the slack perfectly, with a seamless transition. Didn't have to reboot anything. Nice.

The hose line from the pump to the pressure filter was bad. Installed a new line and will begin the burying line under rocks today. I gave replaced this line twice before over the years. I turn off the pressure filter during the winter and put a submergible filter in the pond. Winters are pretty rough on unused water lines but it beats an iced up waterfall.

I love it when a bee comes in for a drink. The frogs never miss a meal.

Susan, When I was let go I was replaced with two managers and a director. My vice president just waned me gone. I can understand that.

Stitch is still looking new. I like the color.

Fixed the pond yesterday, bad water feed line. I was able to pass on the awning shipping tube. Listed it on Facebook Tuesday night and it was gone Wednesday afternoon. It will be used for cement footer forms.

Today is all about cleaning up the garage and getting the Tacoma back into the garage. I also have a couple of bird feeder items to address.

Doing really well. Drove for the first time since the right eye was operated on. Eye is feeling great and eyesight is improving. I am following the doctor's instructions and seeing progress.

    Is the sun bothering you?

When I get drops in the eyes I have a hard time seeing in sunlight.

The picture of Johneman's foot, he's not a short person. I think he's bigger than Bigfoot.

Big Brother has certain Sasquatchian physical traits, but don't underestimate Baby Sister or her hair trigger banhammer. Voice of experience ... I once claimed to be unbannable. I was wrong.
Ok, since it looks like we're gonna be friends, and no disrespect intended, please don't call me "Sir". I say it to most here out of respect for my elders, mentors who have become long time TW friends, and honor to actual military rank. Here's the but and why, I served 26 yrs active duty Air Force, 21 of those as a NCO (Sergeant), 12.5 yrs now DAF civil service...yet still "Sir" makes me check over my shoulder to see what officer snuck up on me.

    Ok?

My father was a Navy Seal, WW2, with 100's of mission under his belt. With all the medals to prove it.

I was brought up to respect my elders and people who show me respect. I was brought up in a military family.

A lot habits are hard to break.

Totally understand and respect you for that. It's not something I normally mention except to those I see myself posting with on a regular/daily basis.
My respect and honor to your father. RESPECT :oldglory:
