I have thought about upgrading the rears to possibly fox so that's still in question

    Air down
    Go slower
Throw some weight in the back
    Get a rear spring pack

    Stock-ish
Yeah for example, did a 63" leaf swap on a buddies truck with 5160s. Even with just 3 leafs (very soft spring rate) the truck would buck over speedbumps, even with all the added travel of 14" 5160s. My exact rear end but with tuned shocks, will basically take almost any dip/hit without the rear tires leaving the ground since my shocks have a very soft (fast) rebound.

5160s are too tall for stock springs especially if they've sagged at all. I was bottoming the 5160s on my sagging stock TRDOR leafs with Icon AALs. Ended up adding a 1" block to the rear until I figure out what aftermarket leaf pack I want to run.

I've thought about that too cause theyre supposed to be fit for at least 1.5 inch lift in the rear. I think at this point imma upgrade the leaf packs then the shackles and eventually upgrade the shocks. Basically eventually upgrade the whole rear suspension

I believe the true issue is the fact that in stock form the Tacoma has very little bump travel in the rear. In other words at ride hight to where the bump stop contacts the strike pad is a short linear distance. On my truck it’s about 2 inches.
I have a 3 leaf add a leaf and bump stop extension of about 2 inches. So at ride hight I have about 2.5 inches of bump travel to bump stop contact. Mid travel conversion would make this better
