I'm thinking about selling the Samurai and building a buggy

 

If that’s the 9k, I’ve got one with the steel rope. It’s been a good winch!

I seen a few built like I want to build it and they are crazy capable

 

It’s the 10 with synthetic. It was between this one and Smittybilt 9.5. Slight difference in the price.

 

That’s right I’ve got the 8k, not 9k. I was between that one and the Smitty as well. Synthetic would be nice though.

 

Yep. Figured I would go ahead and pony up for that on the front end.

RADAR CHECK: We actually had a few “illegal” patches of light rain overnight in a few places across Alabama (rain that was not forecast), but that is fading fast this morning as an upper high builds over the region. Look for a partly sunny sky today with a high in the low 80s; the average high for Birmingham on April 21 is 76.

Dry weather continues tomorrow through the weekend with mostly sunny days, fair nights, and highs in the 82-85 degree range. It will be the warmest weekend so far this year.

NEXT WEEK: A cold front with very limited dynamic support will bring a few showers to the state Monday night and Tuesday of next week, but rain amounts should be one tenth of an inch or less for most communities. The weather will be dry Wednesday through Friday with highs in the 78-82 degree range. Still no sign of any big rain event or severe weather issues for Alabama for the rest of April. RACE WEEKEND: The weather will be warm and dry over the weekend at Talladega. For the Geico 500 Sunday, the sky will be partly to mostly sunny with temperatures in the 82-85 degree range. Morning lows at the Superspeedway will be close to 60 degrees.

TORNADO COUNTS: The Birmingham NWS reports 39 tornadoes in their CWA (County Warning Area) since January 1. In Mississippi, the tornado count for the year so far is now 89; they have already surpassed the total number of tornadoes for every year except 2019, 2008, 2005 and 2011.

ON THIS DATE IN 1967: Severe thunderstorms spawned 48 tornadoes in the Upper Midwest. Hardest hit was northern Illinois where sixteen tornadoes touched down during the afternoon and evening hours causing fifty million dollars damage. On that Friday afternoon, tornadoes struck Belvidere IL and the Chicago suburb of Oak Lawn, killing 58 persons

 

In three weeks I'll be riding with a bunch of them that have them already. I'll see if I can keep up with them if I can I'll probably keep what I have if not I'll be building

That is what happens when I get caught up and nothing to do, I start thinking what if, lol.
Been looking at building a mix between the one I have and a moon buggy. Moon buggies have a rear motor but I have been watching some guys that have been designing moon buggy style with front motor. I may be able to design it with what I have with some cutting and welding. I need to just wait until I get the brown Samurai done before starting another one I guess, I don't know,
