All Mountain Style Honeycomb High Impact Frame Guard is really tough too. I have them strategically placed over the cut to size 3M stuff. If you swap frames or sell bikes frequently wrapping is a must.

All the clear coast has rubbed off on my Slimeball and Angry Dophin Evil. The bikes are 7 and 5 years old. Once I get annoyed enough with it, I'll custom paint it. None of my bikes have any type of frame protection. But my trucks do :D

Interesting spot for a crack to develop. BB & head tube are supposed to be the two areas with the thickest carbon layup on frames.
Currently have a claim filed with Trek thru my lbs, so we'll see what happens with that.
Doesn't appear to be paint since it goes almost 180 deg around the head tube.

First ride on the ebike. Still have all my other acoustic bikes but when out riding solo, I get so much riding in. It's amazing. Highly recommend it.

They will ask you how do you remove the threaded sleeve on the DUB cranks. Here is what you do:

Thread the current plastic preloader all the way down.
Take a tire lever, in my case I used a downhill tire lever and begin prying in different spots to loosen the sleeve. It will eventually come off pretty easily.
Take the CC silver sleeve (if DUB- gold if 30mm) and superglue it on to the spindle. Wait about half an hour and reinstall.
Since the preloader itself is wider than the plastic unit, you will not need to turn the preloader quite as much to snug it up to the bearing.

Go to an automotive clearbra shop and ask for a scrap piece. They have a dumpster full of offcuts usually. They may charge you a nominal fee but its not nearly as much as a ridewrap, etc. Then just cut to fit while watching your favorite MTB edits.

Got a 3x3ft section for like $10 and was enough for my Sentinel, and enough left over to do my hardtail.

    not enough.
Always use protection. I'm a fan of the ridewrap but it takes patience and time. Tip. Use a heat gun or a blow dryer. Softens it up a little. I've done some custom cuts on some parts of bikes but nothing to the whole bike with custom ones. I will say though, i have enough random ridewrap rolls that i can just use those for custom stuff. That said, ridewrap now sells their stuff in full rolls now.

The used MTB I bought came with protection from this company, https://www.dyedbro.com/collections/frame-protection. Just thought I’d throw that into the mix. Mine is a matte clear, but they have all sorts of funky designs as well. Pricing seems on the higher side since it’s listed in euros on the website.

I do like Gunshot’s suggestion about scrap pieces of clear bra. Might do that for the gravel bike.

Thanks for all the tips. I was making an order from Jenson and was just shy of free shipping. Saw they had an All Mountain Style knock off kit for $10 so I threw one in the cart. I'll see what it looks like when it gets here and decide if I want additional coverage. Might do some custom cut clear bra type stuff then this kit for the high impact areas.

Ok next question: what color do I accent the Evil Protein Powder with? My old bike had some bright green parts and a few of them made it over by necessity so far. Actually kind of works. Other options? Backcountryj posted a pic of it above. Kind of a light minty tan. Sort of tough to photograph.

Damn ! I'm sure Trek will take care of it but if not there's a Carbon repair place in LA that you could send it to.

Being a very neutral color, the world is your oyster. I'd go with a bright color which is sounds like you have to make it pop. Bright green, orange, or blue would all look good.

    Or!

a radical pink or purple! Deity has a lot of sick colors and they match Hydra hubs quite well...just sayin' ;)

I love my Sentinel so much more than my old bronson, but damn I miss that purple color scheme it had! Still rock the ish out of that jersey though!

Like @Gunshot-6A said, any accent color works with that frame. It’s easily one of my favorite bike colors I’ve owned. I am biased though. Even my vehicles are a similar shade.

I personally opted for silver accenting just keep things subtle, but not full on bland.
