Anyone else feel like time is just speeding up as of late? I have so much to do around the house and I feel like I'm blinking and weeks are going by. I usually sub out the lawn clean-up and mulching to a landscape company and they increased their quote by 40% this year. I understand the dynamics of inflation / fuel costs / minimum wage / etc, but I was in shock when I got the quote. The past two years they hadn't changed the price so there was some serious sticker shock. I'm going to handle it myself this year, but considering I'll need 15-17 cubic yards, it's going to take me for-ev-or to get it all down.

I ordered a DIY shed kid which will be fun to build, a generator and new lawn tractor over the past two weeks, so it's been crazy. I ended up getting a pricier tractor than I really needed but outside of a few base models the soonest I could get anything to me was August and I really don't feel like push mowing all summer. What is frustrating is both the bagger and mulching kit for it are basically TBD on when I might be able to order one. I fear I'll have to transport my Mom's lawn sweeper back and forth every week for clippings, but we will see how good the mower can cut.

I've got an appointment with an electrician mid-May to put an interlock on my panel and give me an outside outlet for a generator. I lost power for a few days in October and I don't want to deal with that again with the kids. I should have enough generator to power the whole house less my new HVAC system. It should handle with existing oil fired furnace with ease.

Totally. I was supposed to paint the living room ceiling last week. That turned into a week's working vacation. I suppose ideally I would have done it last spring as originally planned but her surgery took priority.

I know a gal if you need a quote for the landscaping

The stock pros are janky and don't do nearly as good as any aftermarket.

I liked the diodes. Their new ones are all using backlighting which I don't care for. The issue is it's not optional so I'd be paying a bunch extra for something I don't like let alone don't want. Big thumbs down from me.

Lockdowns over, two years of crap to catch up on!

Appreciate the offer but at this point I already spent the cleanup money on other stuff so I’m just going to bang it out myself.

They’re still an OEM spec light which means they’ve got appropriate optics and will actually last unlike 90% of the rebranded Alibaba junk on the market.

They’re just not as good as they should be due to ride height limitations. They should be a superior choice like the OEM LED, but unfortunately they’re not. Hardly janky.

I have them because I like how they look and they’re an OEM quality part. If I wanted pure performance I’d look elsewhere.

Backlight or tir? I agree the backlight option is junk. Not useful light for anything but cost an extra $40. I do hope more people buy them so more pods are available cheap (relatively speaking)

I'm literally know next to nothing about aftermarket lights but I just ordered some if those elites for the t4r and they seemed cheap. I'm not going to use the backlight, @Bruce988jl had a hell of a time trying to explain to me what it was haha

Seem like a good bang for the buck and aesthetically look close to OEM.

Backlight= little useless light that you probably don't want. Just not bright enough.

Someone on a t4r group posted pics of it and I finally understood haha. Asian Jason had given up and just said "you aren't going to use it so don't worry about hooking it up"

I'm gonna cheap out and throw some Auxbeam pods up on the sides of the Prinsu and see how I like that. Two on each side. I think high up like that and they should provide enough light for trails but also serve as scene lights for camping. I was talking to a friend and he was saying it would be easy to add an inline switch at the light so that I have control when the circuit is hot.

I have lots of dumb ass drunken ideas like this. Or really wanting that White STi GC w/DCCD. :D

in the bottom of the bar is the party stash. I keep the everyday, simple stuff in the kitchen. Last time I went down into the family room to mix a drink they sent out a search party :drunk:

Nice. It comes as a kit with everything needed? Are these a NH thing, Yardcraft that is? We have shed places here but they are mostly Amish built and they are pricey. We have HD and Lowes too. I need a small shed like this for the wife. Sorry, must be a Freudian slip. I meant to say "Wifes yard tools".

So, I actually thought about moving my ditch lights up to my roof rack and angling them down toward the same spot as the ditch light mounts.

    Two things.

1 - I am now looking at sistering up an antenna mount off the ditch light bracket, so that makes things easy. I was hoping to kind of “clean up” my field of view. Oh well. Too bad.

2 - They angle down and hit one little pesky thing - the wing mirror. So, they would just be reflecting and blasting my eyeballs instead.

I am very much so NOT a fan of roof mounted forward facing lights. They just illuminate the hood, and that restricts your pupils so you end up just seeing less. Mount it low on the bumper, hidden mounts, etc. It’s worst on a white truck, but still a problem regardless of truck color.

I did have a set of the Amazon spec fog light brackets. Was NOT a fan. Then one of the guys I wheel with has the cali raised mounts, which are MUCH cleaner, and better. So, I’m looking to go back to pods using those, me thinks.

    :ohsnap:

Great point with the sideview mirror thing! I always said that sideview mirrors should have more of a awning just for snow and rain. Now I have another reason! I hear on the hood illumination thing. It is real, and it can be bright. I had one on really forward facing brackets on my Sport but the one I have now is mounted on the Prinsu low. My ditch lights are more a combo pattern so I am hoping I can angle them to not be on the hood so much. Cali Raised has some great brackets. I have the lower grill light bar mounts and they are serious.

My biggest hang up is that I am about as adept in wiring as I am in making German Beer. I struggled with my cap 3rd brake light. I am getting better at it and have purchased a solderless connector, that has the solder in it. I shake terrible and have kielbasa sized fingers. A pianist I am not. I have a lot of electrical mods in the wings just waiting for me to get off my butt and do them. :frusty:

I think I might have had some of those in my other Taco. What's the brightest PNP tail light, license plate bulbs they got for a 3rd Gen Taco? Oh, side marker too?
