So I just put in an order for my eibach lift second notch and Dakar HD in the back, so I have the option to taking one out to medium.

the more I read, the more I read negative things about the dakars.

Am I going to regret getting them and should I consider deavers or the icon pack?

    Also

I was just going to go the Aal route since this is my first build, but I figured since I’m going to had a shell and a bumper later on (not sure when) maybe I should go ahead and get the full pack?

All the negative things I’ve heard or read about Dakar (no actual experience w them) is the reason I upgraded to deaver. Only heard good things and local to me so it was a no brainer. I have stage two for a few months and they’ve been great

I saw those on headstrongs site. It looks like they only come in one rating but doesn’t say how much it can hold? Only says 1.5 lift

Pull them out and sell them to some other sucker, get an icon or deaver pack. Your gut is telling you what to do! Follow it!

I went with stage III u402's because I have a shell/topper, and a steel high clearance rear bumper with swing out and full size spare

The best thing to do is speak with Deaver or visit them. My friends that have Deaver leaf springs said it was worth the price.

I suggest leaving it stock until you learn what you need/want.

Don't fix it if it's not broken. Is there something wrong with your current suspension? Is there a trail obstacle you can't get past? Are your lap times on the local desert race track not acceptable?

having switched from dakar to deaver, I should have went with deaver in the first place. So much more happy with my stage 2 u402 pack. I had there heavy duty dakar pack and it started to invert shortly after install. I wasn't weighed down super heavy either.
