Yea everything that I've found is either beat up, heavily molded with tons of miles or.. low miles and expensive

I would be down if there was a mod day, don't know when I can realistically make it down there though. Just as a heads up, when I removed all those part from my truck it was with two cuts from a sawzall, so putting it all back on a truck may be a bit of a learning curve LOL!!!

If you were closer I'd have it towed to my house so you can leave it with me and I can work on it for you .

Daily driving this thing. 2” lift and 32s. Dana 44 rear axle with Trac Lock. Hardtop and soft top. Zero plans to mod it… then I scored a 4” lift and full skids for $200. Looks like another rabbit hole build

I was about to buy a Honda Accord and my wife was like “your soul will die if you don’t have something fun.” So I got a manual trans 4.0 wrangler. Easy to work on, tons of aftermarket stuff available… and a 2002 was cheaper than the early 90’s 4Runners I was finding. I’ll get another Tacoma eventually and keep the jeep for the kids.

I had a green 98 Sahara when I was younger. Had a 3" lift and 33's on it.. loved that thing. Glad you've got the D44.. the D35 that comes on most TJs is super weak.

Is the 4" lift long arm or short arm?

Short arm. I’m sure I’ll go long arm eventually if I keep it long enough.

You get that electrical outlet yet? Probably need to get the alignment tabs welded on now as well.
