Nice it even records the fuel stops

That's an awesome pic and yes I do...that bike is super clean and the best SV model/year in my opinion. Have you been riding it much or mostly the Grom?

My experience with other GPS spot devices tells me that he most likely pre-plotted those landmarks as part of his planning. @BkerChuck seems like the kind of person that would be that thorough especially with such a long trip. If I’m reading the map right, the green dot is his current location (Key Largo). This is handy for backpacking and off-road too. Share this link with family and loved ones and they can keep track if you deviate from your planned route too much. Those devices are cool as hell, but pricey for the subscription of you don’t use it often.

Initial investement can be a bit much, yeah, but I think I pay $13/mo for my inreach mini. Not terrible. Mainly just so I have an SOS button strapped onto my backpack at all times, just in case. I rarely use the breadcrumbing feature on it but it's there. Also nice that you can send quick texts through their sat network.

I don’t think I have ridden the SV since that picture :anonymous: it’s just collecting dust in the basement, I need to take it for a spin. The Grom is so much more practical with the egg crate on the back  and I barely ride that. Been riding bikes with the kids lately.

you are gonna need a go kart soon

or maybe a ride on mower

that is the best way to teach kids, you ever seen a teenage try learning how to drive in reverse, one that has never driven a gokart or a ride on mower???

incredible how uncoordinated a person can truly be

It’s crazy how fast my 2 year old is learning how to ride his strider bike. He almost got hurt yesterday because the cul-de-sac we live on is at the bottom of a steep hill and my wife let him ride before it was flat. He usually slows himself down with his feet but not this time! he came flying down the hill and I had to jump off my bike to stop him. Kid has no fear!

Also I have so many more trees I need to cut down! Have already cut down about 40 and have barely made a dent! I have about 30 more I want to cut down.

That's how I learned how to back up trailers. Mowed a couple acres down the road and would go over it with a lawn sweeper that I'd have to back up to the grass pile to empty. Best way to learn.

I'm so stoked for this. My son has his strider in the rocker mount right now, will be 2 in August.
