2021 dclb trd off-road with the premium package! Had to fly half way across the country to get my hands on this one but loving it so far (3rd Tacoma I’ve owned).

For anyone with vib issues from the factory I had that too (above 50 mph) and fixed with a new set of tires (warranty replacement with 1,700 miles on them). Dealer confirmed they were trash with a road force balance which showed them way out of spec.

Haven’t posted in here in a while. Figured I would after adding my 33s, skids, and a couple of other little things.

Looks great. Looks like no lift, 1.25” wheel spacers and 255/85s?

How are those Load range E KO2s?

Thank you. I have 5100s all around with OME 887 springs. I have about 2' in the front. Icon AAL in the back for 1.5 lift. 1.25 wheel spacers with 285/75/16. It puts me at just around -6 offset. Perfect for me, but did require cutting and CMC soon.

I was honestly worried about the weight of the E range tires based on what I have read on here. It really is not that bad at all. The worst part is stopping and reduced mpg. Otherwise you get used to the difference very quickly. I now only get around 15mpg.

Shit ton of functional mods, Diode Dynamics 30” LED bar and Fogs, vinyl wraps on stock rims, 5100s all around front on middle notch and Stock size Ultraterrains, ECGS bushing just in case. Summer is coming and that means three nine day trips to central Baja!

Pre-5100s on the launch ramp 400 miles south of the border!

1 out of 3 right, cool…I’ll take it.

Just looks good, it’s got the right proportions. Trying to pull that off, but without the lift.

So far the ride is not too harsh at all. I have been running the tires at around 34-35 psi. I may try and go down a couple psi but overall very happy with the 33's over stock tires.

Not bad at all, with 1 out of 3. With the 33's it really fills in the wheel wells. You could probably pull off 33's without a lift but may need to do some trimming/cutting. If you go with a 0 offset wheel you should be good without rubbing on 33's. I had some rubbing issues with -6 offset, but nothing major. I do go wheeling a lot and will need my CMC done. If you do not take it off road much should be good without needing a CMC.

Yeah, I’ll probably stick to 32s just to keep the tire options open, as I don’t want “wider” 33s and skinner ones are all mud terrains.

I do not blame you with wanting to stick with 32's. A lot about wide 33's is the look if you ask me. I hear it is almost impossible to find skinny 33's right now as well.

Yeah, I don’t want to lift (getting old, short wife, new kid) like I have in the past and wouldn’t mind a bit of tire lift to overcome a stock height rig, but for a primary DD truck, that does see genuine off roading but more just as a weekend thing, I don’t want the heavier load range, heavier tire…but I also can’t logically run a MT in snowy/icy Colorado, so need to stick to an AT and that means 265/75R16 for me. Bums me a bit as it’s just not quite the look I prefer, but oh well.

I do love the tall skinny look though. Wish more manufacturers made stuff in that size, a nice AT specifically.
