I had an 02 TACOMA PRERUNNER single cab 4 cyl. Bullet proof, made it thru 2 kids and college years and then back to me for several more years of daily driving. Same funky looking sun bleached fender flares, I think I ended up removing and repainting them with duplicolor or some such spray paint. Take a good look at your radiator, if I recall, those had a "plastic" body that were prone to cracking and leaking. I replaced mine with a larger heavier duty radiator with a primarily metal construction.

thanks, yeah I’m contemplating having them lined when I do the bed. The radio was replaced recently so hopefully I’m good for a while but I do plan to upgrade to more durable components if possible when something needs to be replaced.

 

thank you. It is in great condition and has been a joy so far. Have some minor things that I need to do however I will need to prioritize by order of importance. Next order of business is to up the radio from the factory unit to something that connects to my phone
