Aiken/Augusta Meet Feb 19 @ Durhamtown Plantation

Oh yeah, it's pretty tame out there in most spots. Most of the rougher stuff it kind of like a area off to the side. So you have your main trail, then the hard stuff that branches off.

HAHA wouldnt be the first time being winched out. and I have had my share of tought terrain which turned out fin, only been stuck that one time and i hate mud anyway, id rather stick to the rocks and hills and just pure trails, but i dont mind a lil mud on a trail

 

i feel like such an ass for putting this off on you guys but my buddy max can deal with riding in my truck bed but there is one other chick that wants to come who is rather good looking. anyone one have an extra seat?

 

I may end up having one open but wont know for sure till the night before

 

that is prob why you had to get new alternator...im going to guess but idk i dont think durhamtown is going to be anything like that

 

I wouldn't make assumptions now. Durhamtown can get worse than that... I'm talking hood deep mud.

for me being 2wd. . . yes. gonna be spining one tire all day. ill make it through. momentum is a wonderful thing.

 

Maybe hook a chain to a 4wd all day lol

So your not going to go if it het to 60% chance if rain? What about if it rains the day before?

 

well ill still go. ill just bring some rain coats and dry wood for camping. you have 4 whee drive so your better off then me

 

I am going, soon as I read through everything and figure out where people are meeting and at what time. My kids have been bugging me to take them 4 wheelin, maybe I'll have my jeep fixed to and can drag that down there as well.

 

we are meeting the day of in durham town plantation at 930. gonna wheel for the majority of the day in two groups. prerunner w/ 1 4x4 and a 4x4 group. gonna take a break mid day for some lunch. some people are gonna camp on saturday night.

 

It is worth going out there for 2 days. The new part took us a day to explore. The old part, we didn't even crack. Ran 3 trails and got lost out there for several hours trying to find our way off the trails.
