I had a bank account & credit card with BBVA Compass that PNC bought out so I now have both with PNC. I have not been happy with them so far but have a lot of bills on auto payment on account & card so will be a hassle to change banks, I am hoping I learn to like them before it comes to that. Whats up?

 

Hey Rusty I finally found a picture of my lift when I built my patio last fall. The trusses are 24' wide & handled them no problem.

My truck loan is through them, set it up in February to pay online instead of mailing a check. Worked good for February then March I had to re-enter all my info, it said it went through and a week later it kicked it back out. Had to go to a branch near here and they couldn’t figure it out either, had to pay them with a check. Mailed them a check this morning cause they haven’t fixed the online problem

 

We don't even have any checks.

 

Banks buying other banks is a PIA. Happened to my wife's elderly parents when they were alive. Confused the hell out of them both. No support or services to help explain. Mind you they were both intelligent, bright people but just along in years and set in their ways. It's a shame how this country puts corporate interest above peoples well-being is beyond me. A Boeing tech got hydrazine on his clothes Weds night and it burnt right through his jeans and scabbed up his skin. We weren't supporting at the time, it was just regular fueling prep work. I guess some fuel was trapped in a place they didnt expect. You won't read about that in the newspapers.

 

They didn't change my nephews auto payments over when went from Compass to PNC so he had problems he closed his account.
I work overnights so I do all my stuff online at night & about 50% of the time I can not get into my account to make a CC payment or make a deposit. I went to the bank the other day & asked a teller that I knew from Compass what she thought of the change and her lack of answer said a lot.
Bro in law also had problems with them.

 

Don't have a credit card either. Only a debit card.

Speaking about reading it in the paper; been several years back I was out of town on company business for inspections on a large motor, anyways back here at the plant they were either doing a pre or post heat for a weld and one of the heating blankets got a short and smolder a tiny bit, our fire brigade missed the respond time by seconds so it had to be reported. The next morning I'm browsing the USA Today and read about a fire at the Nuclear Plant
Friday and I'm early out at noon, burning 4 hrs safety holiday.

 

I have a debit card that has never been activated. We use our Costco Visa for EVERYTHING.

 

I pay all of my bills with checks.
