Yup, I haven't even had a chance to put the mowing deck back on the tractor. This Monday I trimmed hedges and burned the brush from them - I had plans to do so much more but that is honestly just about all I got done. Either I am slowing down or I am getting worse at estimating time requirements.

Shit dude....that sucks. My friend Dave had a serpentine belt go on him 3 1/12 hours away from home, while on the highway, while towing our bass boat on Memorial day when nothing was open. I feel your pain. I might want to check and replace pulley now then. I always keep a spare belt in my truck at all times just for occasions like this.

I had an old belt on me but it wouldn't have helped with the frozen pulley on my tensioner. My 1st clue was I found bearings on my skid plate while I was pulling out the pieces of my shredded belt.

The tensioner is a PITA to swap on the 2nd Gen. It's a whole assembly and I think you have to take off the compressor, because it's attached on top of the arm itself. When I did mine, back when I still had the Tacoma, I just swapped the pulley, not the whole arm so I didn't have to mess with hard lines going to the compressor and risk cracking the hard lines.
