My bank told me to quit using my debit card (not PNC) another bank they said to use a credit card because if a debit gets hacked it locks down your money but if a credit card gets hacked it locks down theirs so I use credit card or cash for everything I just log in to my credit cards & pay them off every couple of weeks to avoid interest & to keep my balances low. The advantage to this is the 2-3% I get in rewards from the CC:spending: I do use a debit to get cash at the banks ATM but that's about it. I also keep a bank account at Wells Fargo as a back up incase the other gets hacked.

My 1st wife had a diesel rabbit if it was below 30 degrees I had to pull start it with my truck & you would use the minute hand to clock 1/4 mile or 0-60 but that thing made fuel & if you had enough freeway to get it up to 80 it would stay there all day long. That was probably the only time I had road rage is if I finally got that thing up to 80 & someone jumped in front of me at 60 to get around a car:mad:

Never had my card locked before. But they have replaced money in my account from fraudulent charges. Any large purchases , I just have my money manager transfer money to them.

If it smelled like a barbecue I'm betting this thing was running on biofuel. We played around with these back in the day ourselves. best blend was with used cooking oil from the donut shop. That exhaust smelled awesome!

    It also made you hungry...

Coworker used to drive one and had some remarkable amount of miles on it. Not sure why he quit driving it but possibly too rusted out to be road worthy. Then he went to a Chevy Geo or Tracker little thing, fell asleep at the wheel and totaled it off into the ditch. He makes good money but kind of like me, can't see driving a brand new hi-end vehicle (expensive) when just basic transportation do the job.

Some plate welded to a piece of pipe. Better than new.
