    Thank you for the video. Interesting results. Both jack stands exceeded their weight rating by at least a factor of three. (Jack stands are rated in pairs, so a single "2-ton" jack stand is only rated for 1 ton on its own.)

    I wonder how much a jack stand will really hold on its lowest setting (the rack insert resting on the pyramid base). That's how I use my 3-ton stands under the Subaru.
