Not even. You woud have to be stoned to expect that from Toyota.

You might be able to work that out on a new F-series.

My Toyota app this morning let me add my truck with the new VIN this morning. No tire pressure, fuel, or mileage showing up but all the fields are there now. Baby steps…

I had 2 vehicles in the past with manuals and you're right. I may use this in my signature.
Also, I placed my order with a $500 refundable deposit about 3 weeks ago for an SR5 DCLB 4x4 automatic and was told 6-8 months.

6-8 months is much longer than average. you might want to check with some other dealers, they might already have that in their allotment list. if the interest rates keep going up it could save you thousands to get it 4 months earlier.

Las Vegas NV. I talked with both dealerships in Abq and they were a joke. Sales guy on Wyoming/Lomas never answered my emails and sales guy on Alameda was clueless. Alameda had a lime pro allocated and they wanted $64k before TTL. A sales manager also told me that they wouldn't do a deposit on the lime pro (not that I considered it at that price), and would sell it to the first person that wanted it when the truck arrived. The dealerships here are shady/iffy.
I also checked with Farmington, Santa Fe, Amarillo, Phoenix, Las Cruces, El Paso, and nothing. Originally I was looking for a sport with adv tech in blue or red. After a couple of weeks of looking locally I expanded my search to TX, CA, NV, even Washington state. Las Vegas salesman Kevin called me right away. He kept in touch with me every few days about trucks. Maybe a week or so later he said they had a lime pro allocated and did I want it.

As soon as Kevin says he has eyes on it I'm booking a plane ticket. We're hoping before end of month I can pick up. When I go I'll look for yours :)

That sucks to hear, it's rough out there right now that is for sure, I have had a pretty good experience with Sandia Toyota on Eubank and copper, they were more than accommodating, had no markups, and have put up well with my persistent inquiries on allocations. Although I did share your sentiments with the Alameda dealership, they were very shady and kept telling me they could special order whatever i wanted. Same with Santa Fe, although they wanted me to run credit when placing a non-refundable deposit, needless to say, i ran from there.....

I hope this is dealer misinformation, if my order falls through and I get stuck ordering an automatic, I already have 5.29 gears planned for a fallback scenario. The roads in Wyoming are too long and too high to mess with two hunting overdrive gears.

It could just be a temporary thing too. I just dont see toyota ever doing away with the MT. There is just way too much demand, especially in other countries. Manuals just dont die, ever.....

Same experience that I had with both dealers here, except the dealer on Alameda told me that they were only marking up their incoming ELM Pro by $2K.
At least that’s what they told me the day that I drove up to Farmington to pick mine up. Both dealerships here are LHM Group dealerships, and are dishonest as the day is long. I doubt if I will even take advantage of Toyota’s 24 month complementary maintenance if it means taking my truck to one of these POS dealers.

Man, little worried now, I have had a pretty good experience so far with Sandia Toyota ABQ, they have been relatively transparent and worked diligently to get me an allocation and even informed me when a different allocation dropped that was closer to my original preferences, then let me switch my deposit to reserve the one I really wanted. Im sorry to hear that your experience was not the same, hopefully, my sales rep is honest, and I'm not just being fed lies.....guess we shall see in a couple of weeks.....

A lot of times its not the sales rep that's dishonest. Everything runs through a sales manager and then that sales manager also answers to people above him. if upper management decides that they are raising the prices than it trickles down. The sales rep has no choice in the matter. That's why its important so get a signed purchase agreement.

supposedly, a tune makes it better. I only drive MT so I can really speak to it.

    I hope he/she is wrong. I don't trust anything a dealer says.

Was just offered a Manual trans TRD Sport that will be built in May. Any dealer saying MT's are not being built is full of shit.

I placed my order request April 1st for a manual OR. Salesman said if I check back in 30 days (from April 9th conversation), they should have good information back from Toyota on my order request. My salesperson sucks at reciprocal communication, but I'll be patient that long to follow up.

Congrats and thanks for the timeline. I’m also in the CVG area. Build was 4/6 and departed Mexico on rail on 4/12. Your dates give me perspective and align with what the salesman is telling me. Enjoy the new truck.

Just got mine Monday (04/18) Man I been driving a stick including large class 8 trucks summers when in college but it took me until Wednesday to master 1st & reverse. Way tall gears in both. Got it down though including steep hill green lights. BTW, just keep your peripheral vision on the large screen to prevent from mistankingly into reverse when you really meant to go to first. I made an adapter to make the stick 3" higher. This makes it super easy to shift without the clutch, something I have been doing for 45 years I LOVE the Truck, just took a few days to master the TALL 1st & reverse

Just want to post this here. Got an allocated Army Green TRD off road with LEDs, black out etc. I had two pre-orders for my Tacoma. I settled for an MGM TRD OR. Got one coming into Texas, here is the price and specs. First come first serve and I’ll put you in contact with the dealer.

    Total OTD is 45,600.
Delivery is May 13th, it’s allocated. Location is southeast Texas
