That sucks! What colour and transmission was this?

 

Hey did they ever get back to you on the decal? Also what dealership did you get yours? Do you have any paint issues on the hood? I'm in Winnipeg as well

 

White and manual, I only cared about the manual.

I ordered a MGM Pro MT in early Feb, still no updates available from my dealer. Salesman says they have not been told about any delays/cancellations with the Pro models and has faith I'll see mine eventually. They do have an electric lime MT expected to arrive within the next 2 weeks that a customer backed out of... but I am not a fan of the color. The dealer is holding it for me for me to look at in person before making a decision. I'm not sure if I should just settle and buy it (since what I've read here indicates it's pretty rare) or wait out for the MGM one I ordered. It's hard to tell if these cancellations are for real due to shortages or if dealers are just screwing customers over. Thoughts?

 

If he'll hold it for you so you can make the first offer I'd wait and make a decision then. My white MT pro is arriving in May after waiting for a year; ordered in April 2021. Based on my experience I think you should plan for a long wait if you want to hold out for the colour you want. MT's are rare.

 

This happened to me as well. I had TRD OR Premium AG that I ordered in November and the dealer called me a month ago (after giving me a VTN) and said the truck wasn't coming in because they couldn't get Leather or Sunroofs. So now they have me set up with a AG Trail slated for early June. I still have my order for the Premium which I'll keep on for now with hopes it will come eventually and then I'll sell the Trail.

“At Yard - Processing” means??

my dealer showed me a ETA delivery date of May 2-6. And the order shows At Yard - Processing.
Does that mean it’s on its way?

 

My truck showed this same status a few days before I picked it up at the dealership. Don’t lose anymore sleep your trucks eta should be imminent. Edit.. actually I just remembered that after showing “at yard processing” was something like “released for truck loading” which was the final update before it arrived. Either way, the wait should be nearly over.

Unfortunately for me, it's an auto which kills it's appeal... but if that's not enough to turn others away it also has ~$10k in "Accessories" already attached to it and does not include taxes or fees in the advertised price.

I also saw there was a White Auto in Edmonton that was closer to MSRP, at least their advertised price includes everything. EDIT: Just notice it does not include GST!

I'm either buying a manual or no truck at all.

I've also been hearing rumours that there are no more Pro's or MT's scheduled for production this year.

 

in AB ads don't show GST. They just have to say fees and tax extra.

I'm at 6 month wait now for mine. Sucks seeing these sitting on the lot like this while I don't have mine in the same province. Toyota allocations or whatever they call it sucks. You'd think they'd fulfil orders for customers that put deposits down months ago instead of having stuff like this go on.

 

Small moves in the date like this indicate that it’s on a train/truck on the way. Hope you’re excited lol.

 

Sorry to hear that man. If your name was on the allocation, the sales person didn’t do anything wrong here. He did sell you an unsold one. What is likely that happened is someone offered over MSRP on it and they took that instead of honouring the deal and changed the name on the allocation. Scummy as hell.

 

The wheels on those 2022 are a bit suspect; it's showing 2020-2021 TRD Pro wheels instead of the new 2022 wheels.

 

Is that not a ‘21 that they’re advertising as a ‘22? Wrong wheels, decal on hood, and side badging.

I have very little hope that the black Pro that I ordered will be built.

 

Looks like. 21 to me as well. Can’t hide the missing “TRD pro” stamped in the side of the bed plus the wheels and also can’t see the bright red forged upper control arms that are new for 22. Surprised to see a new and unsold 21 still around.

 

It actually arrived yesterday around noon.My truck sells tomorrow and I pick up the new one on Tuesday PM.

 

That bed decal will be the first thing to go.I have a black set waiting along with black overlays and tail gate letters.
