Basically, the idea is to make a home like this...
But before that happens I need to make a compressor that flows far more than Ill ever need, but also manage to be quiet

Hence my idea, two compressor pumps being driven at half the speed by one motor

    https://www.lowes.com/pd/California...RKOy9lgUAX8Xz70BcmMaArhaEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

It's basically all those guys do and it is quieter except theirs are consumer grade trash, oiless, dont flow that much, and are really expencive for what they are

Hence my idea, two dual piston wet sump pumps, driven by one motor, geared to spin each of them at half the speed, I don't care about underutilizing each pump and paying for 2x the pump per cfm produced, which under normal circumstances would bug the shit out of me because I strive to be the cheapest mf out there but this time as long as its quiet I don't care

Hmmm. I’m not sure that would be quieter.

At a shop I worked at we had a full-size compressor in its own room with about 6” of fiberglass insulation. It was pretty quiet.

Don't use piston compressors, all the industrial ones use screw type compressors, they're as loud as the electric motor, that's it. They outflow piston compressors of equal size too.
