Check the connection on the harness, I had to repair mine as it actually shorted and melted the harness

Spent the morning tearing everything out on here front end. Unfortunately I couldn’t get my UBJ’s pressed on until tomorrow. Which isn’t a bad thing.. I now have to source out an ABS sensor that goes into the knuckle.. had one that after an hour I finally got rough and it snapped..

If you take the air box out it isn’t bad at all to deal with

The tensioner or pulling the pump? Removing the airbox is almost essential for pulling the pump (have done both ways many times and it sucks way less with the box out), but to just adjust the belt you don't need to.

I've searched, found info, but not really details. My 01 double cab needs new body mounts, seems like all the available options are only for xtra cabs or oem which is $. Anyone find a solution? Or know what durometer polyurethane is typically used?

Mine has a noticeable knick on it, but I am just too lazy to change it. Guess it's future me's problem haha

....don't worry it'll honestly get changed here in the next week or so

I just changed my drive belts tonight, man that steering pump belt is a b*tch
On the plus side it seems to idle smoother

on the other hand...I still need to do my timing belt after having a kit sitting on the shelf for a year now :anonymous::anonymous::anonymous:

The Xtra cab ones won't work. Your only option is OEM I'm afraid. I tried the others thinking it wouldn't matter, it does. A lot.

that sounds like a rotor rubbing a pad.

Wheel bearings in my experiance sound like a rumble. If they get REALLY bad its like a shrieking pepper grinder and you would pull over immediately.

That's what I was thinking possibly.
Going to check it out later, but I haven't ever had to replace a wheel bearing so I wasn't sure what to expect.

I've had pretty much the same sound happen after doing water crossings or driving through mud pits on the trail, like a little rock or something gets wedged in the brakes and makes a rotational squealing noise until it pops out. Did it go away eventually or?

I've had a wheel bearing go bad and it's definitely more of a low grinding sound rather than a squeal
