    @Texoma you're usually a reliable source of information so I want to hear out your argument. Can you help me understand how the top of the spring pictured below would be flat?

    Do you mean where the coil is ground flat? I can assure you they are not and neither are the OEM Pro springs

    I've done prob 30 sets of Pro shocks on Taco, T4R, and Tundra. All of their stock springs had flat tops. A handful of them had pig tail bottoms similar to what the stock SR and OR have, and the rest were flat springs on both sides. Only way for those to seat properly with the spring insulator is to have a flat top. If your stock springs had pig tails on both sides, that would be the first I've seen that. It doesn't work, it needs the flats.

    Bottom line, tops should always be flat to mate correctly with the spring insulator

    Just not true on 2020-2022 pros, they have pig tails, then the tops are not ground flat. The one picture of a tacoma with 2020+ suspension you showed has the top in the back thats not ground. the other tacoma you showed is 2017-2019 that came ground flat. the tundra and 4runner are ground flat top and bottom.

    This thread shows the 2020 pro suspension and you can see that the coils not ground flat.

    Dang man I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt not attack you. I own the Eibach springs and I have taken mine off to install the Westcott lift - they are not flat. I totally believe you have plenty of experience so thanks for all the pictures of your installs but that doesn't answer the question I asked which was about the 2020+ springs I have pictured. They are not flat.

    It is definitely an odd design, but even the factory 2020+ TRD Pro Springs are not flat on the top, so I assume Eibach made these to match. Either way I went ahead and installed the coilovers with the new springs on them. Used a 1/4” spacer on the drivers side to account for lean. Getting them in was a little more of a challenge due to how the top hats were off-level, but I got them in. With things straightened out, the top bushing isn’t squashed anymore. However the shocks are not very well centered inside of the springs. Hoping due to this there wont be any rubbing on compression. Overall not super happy with the design of the springs not being flat on the top, but they seem to ride well so far. We shall see after some time…

    I have my kit to install first week of May. With your issues I'm hesitant. At this point the Westcott wouldn't arrive in time. Hopefully eibach will provide some clarity soon.

    I don’t want to persuade anyone to not buy these springs, but Eibach really should include a thicker top hat rubber mount that molds to the coil. The top coil on these springs just doesn’t compress like the OEM springs do, causing the top hat issue (at least that’s my current theory - I’m sure Eibach has reasoning).

    Eibach knows what's up in the automotive spring world and they are the manufacturers of the OEM TRD Pro springs for Fox. Interested to hear what they have to say.
    Do your research on the differences and you decide what is better for your use. There are some good YouTube videos on explaining Toyota IFS and lifts. I prefer the full spring option from Eibach. Been running it for over a year and love them. I don't like the top hat and larger perch combo from Westcott.

    Edit: remembered the name of the YouTuber that does some pretty in-depth Toyota IFS lift videos: Tinkerer's Adventure (sorry cant get on YouTube at work to get a link)

    I had a 2018 Pro with the Wescott lift and it performed great for what it is. The new spring looks tempting, but reading this thread has me wondering…guess time will tell.

    Since the eibach springs match the OEM design perfectly, its not a design issue. Its usually a installation issue.
