I wonder how many wives have said: My husband's Tacoma ruined our marriage?

3rd gen Divorce Court would make a great series.

I’m a very lucky guy. My wife cares nothing for my hobbies as long as we stay in budget. We started long before marriage saving money for cars and have made car payments to investment accounts, sometimes for years when we didn’t have true auto loans. Now when either of us needs a car or heavy maintenance we simply look at the cookie jar and if its got enough cookies it’s a go. We have had lean years, thus why we own Toyotas so we can ride them out. This method has been so successful that the only car loans we have had for more than 20 years have been voluntary 0% financing giveaways.

Maybe your wife would like to swap for a vehicle with a faster throttle tip-in, like my wife’s? BTW it is a 2008 Scion XD with 160,000 miles and would probably beat my Taco from 0 to 50. But which would YOU rather drive?

    Right on!

I recorded a 7.2sec 0-60 once. Took several runs to get there. 8.0sec was pretty easy to do repeatably.

When I lived in AZ used to see them up from Mexico…I tend to geek out over things and like to know.
    lol!

Mine borrowed the truck the other day to run into the city, she thought it was pretty quick…and now wants her own.

It is always great seeing the vehicles in other countries.

With the improved reliability, the stuff running around after the 25yr rule is pretty killer also.

Yep, few vehicles I wouldn’t mind having, but at the end of the day doesn’t matter much…just need it to haul ass and crap around.

Whenever I let my wife drive my truck she leaves her panties in there cause she says hers got a little moist and she had to change them. Maybe you need a new wife instead of a new truck.
